This software, whilst it maybe not spam, virus, trojan, nor malware as such, still sticks more code and hooks into the operating system than I am comfortable with, as well as having a reputation for being bloatware. accounting applications and others, aside from the Videopad folder in the start menu there was also a NCH Software folder, which also rang alarm bells. I realised that there must be something else running in order for the application to open of its own accord. This sort of random auto-launching application is not only out of the ordinary, uncalled for, damn invasive and rude.
